Grammy Award-winning Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are regularly reinventing their musical visions while staying true to the sound and impassioned songwriting that made them one of country music’s most famous duos. And now Sugarland storms the Global Event Center stage on August 3.
In 2004, these Georgia natives recorded and released their first multi-platinum album, “Twice the Speed of Light,” along with their breakthrough single, “Baby Girl.” Since then, they’ve written some of country’s most popular songs, including “All I Want to Do,” “Stay” and “Stuck Like Glue.” In total, Sugarland has earned seven No. 1 singles and collected more than 330 million on-demand streams. Their critical and mainstream appeal has translated into multiple industry accolades: five consecutive CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year, five ACM Awards (including Song of the Year and Single of the Year) and Grammy Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Country Song for “Stay.”
In June 2018, Sugarland released their first project in nearly six years, a new album titled “Bigger.” The 11-song set features the new hit single, “Babe,” which features Taylor Swift. What’s more, they received standing ovations in the UK during performances at the C2C: Country to Country festival and rave reviews for their Still The Same Tour last year, which covered 48 cities in the U.S. and Canada. Their next stop: the Global Event Center, August 3.
