Second Saturday at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. Dr. David Aiello will share his research and travel with his students to the islands of Trinidad and Tobago over the last 10 or so years. The talk will share aspects of both the rich cultural history of, as well as the biological diversity on the islands. As part of the presentation, he will also touch on his collaborative research experiences working to understand population declines of the golden tree frog. The talk will largely be a visual experience as he takes the audience from the North Coast of Trinidad to the Central Mountain Range, from Nariva Swamp in the southeast to Caroni swamp and the Gulf of Paria in the west.
