Lights on the Lake, the City of Sherman’s annual Independence Day Celebration! This is our 11th Annual LIGHTS ON THE LAKE at Pecan Grove West Park, so get ready to dance the night away with a FREE concert! Sherman will take residents on a trip back to the 80’s for its annual Lights on the Lake concert this July. The city announced that 80’s Rock Tour — featuring musicians from the bands Asia, Journey and Kansas — will headline the annual Independence Day concert and fireworks show in Pecan Grove Park on July 2.
The show at Pecan Grove Park will include John Payne, who previously played with Asia from 1991 through 2006, John Elefante, who preformed with Kansas from 1981 through 1984 and Steve Augeri, who was the lead singer for Journey from 1998 to 2006
