End the year on the right foot by taking a hike with us at Eisenhower State Park as together we will hike in the New Year!
Where: The trailhead at Fossil Ridge
When: Tuesday December 31, 2019 from10:00 am to 11:30 am and at 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm
Duration: 60-75 minutes.
Hike Info: The trail is easy to moderate in difficulty and will be just over a mile and a half there and back. Some portions of the trail will be steep, rocky, and, depending upon conditions, muddy. Slip hazards are a possibility, so exercise caution. Parking is available just above the trailhead in the Fossil Ridge camping loop.
Audience: All ages are welcomed! Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event and pets must remain on a leash at all times.
What to Bring: Meaningful New Year’s resolutions, water, and sunscreen. Please dress according to the weather and wear sturdy boots or shoes as the terrain in some areas is rocky and liable to be muddy.
*Park ranger pro tip: festive hats can be warm!
