Hot Summer Nights Featuring Deep Blue Something on July 16th at 7 pm, Lucy Kidd-Key Park, Sherman, TX
On Thursday, July 16th, we can’t wait to welcome Hit Alternative-Rockers, Deep Blue Something to the HSN stage! We are also excited to have everyone’s favorite, AC/TC, open up this show for us…and if they leave you wanting more, make sure to go to the Official After-Party of Hot Summer Nights at Old Iron Post in downtown Sherman where you can catch more from the opening act each week after the HSN show ends on the lawn! These outdoor shows at Lucy Kidd-Key Park start each Thursday night at 7pm, with headliners to begin at 7:30pm. HSN is a FREE, family-friendly concert series that takes place every Thursday evening in June & July on the Municipal grounds lawn and gazebo in beautiful, historic downtown Sherman, Texas (with the exception of July 2nd). Feel free to pack your own picnic, or just show up and enjoy the food and beverage vendors on-site!
As Texas moves into Phase 2 of reopening, we’re cautiously excited to bring you live, outdoor music every Thursday in June and July. We’ll be taking several steps to increase public safety this year and provide for social distancing, including:
• Providing 12×12 squares in front of the stage to prevent bunching – no more than one family per square.
• Spacing out port-a-potties and providing additional hand sanitizing stations.
• Spacing out food vendors
• No indoor rain plans – concerts will be held outside or cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
• Streaming all concerts on Facebook (when legally allowed).
And PLEASE, if you’re feeling under the weather, stay home. None of these great acts coming to Sherman this summer is worth endangering your friends and neighbors. TOGETHER we can make this a fantastic, safe summer of live music in North Texas!**
