Hike Into History

The natural and cultural resources that surround us have a story to tell. Hit the trail with us at Eisenhower to learn a little bit about what the resources of the Red River Valley say about us!
Expect to: Learn a little bit about the natural history of Eisenhower State Park and how environmental transformation shaped the Red River Valley.
When: We’ll begin at 3:00 PM and end at approximately 4:30 PM.
Where: Meet at the Armadillo Hill trailhead. Additional parking is available nearby at the Armadillo Hill restrooms. The hike will be about a mile and a half there and back.
What to bring: Appropriate footwear and plenty of water. Don’t forget to put on the sunblock and bug spray before you come out.
