The Color Me Green 4K & Fun Run is a family friendly event hosted by the Grayson County 4-H Youth Development Program. This run will benefit youth based educational efforts hosted by Grayson County 4-H. The race is designed as a 4K to promote the four pillars of 4-H, which are:
• Head to clearer thinking
• Heart to greater loyalty
• Hands for larger service
• Health for better living
Race Day Schedule
6:30 AM – Gates Open for Public
7:00 AM – Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up Open @ Loy Lake Pavilion Building
8:00 AM – 1 Mile Color Me Green Fun Run starts @ Loy Lake Pavilion
8;30 AM – 4K Color Me Green Run starts @ Loy Lake Pavilion (Chip Timing Available)
9:30 AM – Wrap-Up & Welcome Final Runners

1 Mile Fun Run
All children who participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a flashing clover necklace
4K Run
• Top Overall Male & Female
• Top Masters Male & Female (age 40+),
• Top 3 male and female in the following age groups:
• 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69, 70+
• Finisher dog tags for all participants!
Event T-Shirts
T-Shirts are guaranteed to participant registering by Friday, May 25, 2019 by midnight. Extra shirts will not be ordered. Register Early!!!
Packet Pick-up
Early Packet Pick-up
Participants may pick up their packet in advance starting Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the Grayson County 4-H Office located at 100 W Houston St, Sherman, Texas. Enter the south entrance of the Grayson County Courthouse (Lamar St) and we are the first office on the right hand side in the Annex. Open normal business hours from 8 am to 5 p.m., closed during lunch noon to 1 p.m.
You will be allowed to pick up your friends and families race packets. Bib number and timing chips will be available at packet pick up.
On Site Packet Pick-Up
Participants may pick up their packets at the Loy Lake Park Pavilion starting at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th.
