Like cooking classes? Enjoy collaborative learning? Interested in learning how to use a camp Dutch oven, but don’t have one? Then register for Do It Yourself Dutch Ovens!
Who: Do It Yourself Dutch Ovens is opened to anyone interested in learning how to cook with a Dutch oven. Food, fuel, and utensils will be provided.
When: Saturday, January, 25 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Where: The Cedar Hollow Amphitheater
Expect to: Learn how to create a Dutch oven treat by working as a team. A total of 12 participants will be broken down into groups of three and provided with cooking instructions, a Dutch oven, food, fuel, and utensils. Please note: The Do It Yourself Dutch ovens class is limited to 12 participants.
What to Bring: Water, oven mitts or gloves, and camp chairs if desired. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen, and/or bug spray before coming out.
This event is by registration only! To register please email cody.edwards@tpwd.texas.gov if you would like to attend. This class will fill up fast, so don’t delay in signing up!
Program free with paid park admission. Please keep in mind that outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to weather.
