Interested in learning about what it takes to cook with cast iron? Join us for an introduction to cast iron cooking and learn about the history behind that big black pot while you enjoy a sweet treat!
WHERE: The Amphitheater at Cedar Hollow
WHEN: October 26, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
EXPECT TO:
• Learn a little bit about the tradition and history of cast iron cookware
• Learn the basics of how to properly care for and use cast iron
• Observe a cooking demonstration
• Enjoy a sweet treat and maybe even swap some recipes or tips and tricks with rangers or other veteran Dutch oven chefs
All ages are and skill levels are welcomed! Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event and pets must remain on a leash at all times.

Remember to bring plenty of water and to apply sunscreen and bug spray before you arrive. Camp chairs and personal/re-usable utensils (reduce, reuse, recycle!) are recommended, also.
