The trail system that the race is held is on dirt trails, which vary in condition from flatter, smooth “runnable” sections to more technical areas with rocks and roots with steeper hills. Please see the video below for a general idea of the terrain.
Free camping will be available Friday, September 27th at the race venue (Barteau Ranch). No hook ups are available. Open fires will not be allowed. Barteau Ranch requires a signed waiver upon entering the property. Donations to Abigail’s Arms are greatly appreciated!

All profits of the Red River Trail Run will again benefit Abigails Arms Cooke County Family Crisis Center whose mission is to embrace children, individuals and families to inspire change and create stronger, safer communities through education and awareness. The focus of this benefit will be the services provided for children who are victims of crime. Thanks to the participants and sponsors, we were able to donate over $3500 from the 2018 event.
