Mason Athletic-Recreation Complex\, off Brockett Street and just east of the football stadium. ’Roo Boo spreads into Ida Green Communication Center this year and is 30 minutes longer than in the past to better serve the large number of guests.  \nThe theme for this year’s family-friendly event is Hocus Pocus. Children 12 and younger are invited to wear their costumes and take part in this free event. Parental supervision is required. Austin College Police will be on patrol during the event. \nThe event is a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating and will include lots of games\, booths\, and prizes offered by campus organizations with plenty of free candy for participants. Austin College student volunteers\, representing more than 50 student organizations\, will be dressed in costume for the Halloween celebration. A Fun House is added this year. \nMadelyn Oliver\, a sophomore and this year’s ’Roo Boo committee chair\, said the annual event is always designed to be kid-friendly and not too scary. “This is a fun project that allows our organization to give back to the Sherman community and provide a night of fun for area kids.”  \nMore than 1\,250 guests regularly attend the event. \nAlpha Phi Omega is a national service organization\, founded on the principles of leadership\, friendship\, and service. \n\n		\n\n\n\n				\n					\n					Google Calendar				\n			\n\n				\n					\n					iCal Export

We know that poems come in all shapes and sizes\, all sorts of moods\, up and down (and sideways)\, and we get together for a full evening each week to share what we are doing\, and help one another figure out what will make our poems bounce\, tap dance and sing (if that’s what they want to do)\, or change the world (if they can). Under the guidance of prize-winning poet Peter Anderson\, we aim to figure out together how to make each poem as strong and effective as it can be. Which is exactly what our poems want us to do. \nThis is a five-week long\, poetry writers workshop held Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 PM \nWorkshops are held at Ideation Station led by Dr. Peter Anderson\, an award-winning poet.
