DESCRIPTION:You can expect an engaging\, fun\, supportive and challenging atmosphere in class. ATS is a low-impact weight bearing form of exercise that works with the body’s natural inclinations to strengthen and condition the body. Intro classes present the basic ATS vocabulary. Students will follow the instructor as they learn and refine movements during a six week period. Using both slow movements and fast steps\, we’ll get you dancing in your first class! This class has plenty of review built in; therefore you may drop in at anytime. \nStudents should wear yoga pants and a comfortable tee shirt. Your sisters in dance welcome you with open arms! From there we will venture over to the waters edge for an onshore safety briefing and paddling demonstration before hitting the water. While still in the cove we will put our newly acquired flat-water fundamentals and water safety skills into practice. From there we’ll embark on a journey of the waters of beautiful Lake Texoma.   \nThings to Remember: \n– RESERVE YOUR SPOT by emailing Ranger Cody at cody.edwards@tpwd.texas.gov Remember\, space is limited!– Arrange to bring your own gear (kayak\, paddles\, and life jacket) OR rent from the Eisenhower Yacht Club ($30 for single\, $40 for tandem) by letting Ranger Cody know in your registration email.– Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.– To participate you must be comfortable in the water and be able to swim unassisted.– The park entry fee is $5 per person 13 years of age and older. \nExpect: \n-Moderate to extreme physical activity in the great outdoors– Small group instruction and guidance– 1.5 hour paddling trip there and back along the shore– Possible cancellations due to weather– Anything that goes out may get wet or completely submerged – including you! \nWhat to bring: \n– Water and snacks– Sunscreen\, sunglasses\, and a hat that won’t blow away– Towel or dry clothes for after  \nThe Shoreline Kayaking program is designed to be both beginner friendly and fun for those who are more experienced. DESCRIPTION:It was tons of fun last year!!! \n$40 per Golfer\, $5 Mulligans\, 50/50\, etc. See Flyer! \nMedals will be awarded!!! \nThis is a just-for-fun golf scramble at beautiful Tanglewood Resort to get together\, enjoy each other’s company\, and raise a little money for the Pottsboro American Legion Post 231 in the process. You do NOT have to be a great golfer to come and enjoy this best-ball scramble with your comrades and friends. \nIf you don’t have clubs\, Tanglewood has graciously offered to allow the use of rental clubs for FREE! We just need to know ahead of time\, and YES\, they have some left-handed sets! \nEnter as a two or four-person team! Two-person teams will be grouped with other two-person teams in four-person flights. You will keep each other’s score cards in each flight to keep each team honest. \nThere’s going to be a longest drive contest ($5 to enter\, winner takes half)\, a hole in one contest ($5 to enter\, winner takes all)\, and a Longest Putt contest ($5 to enter\, winner takes half).
