SUMMARY:Wine & Cheese for Pups in Need
DESCRIPTION:@ 			\n			\n							 \n					\n				 – 			 \n					\n							 \n\n\nJoin us for a night of sips and snacks at Zin Zen Wine Bar in McKinney to help benefit Dallas DogRRR’s Transport Program. In 2018\, we successfully transferred over 200 animals to rescue partners outside of Texas\, where there are no pet population concerns. By the end of July\, we will have equaled that number! \nTransporting animals to deserving homes outside of Texas works! However\, it’s a costly venture but one that is well worth it. Not only are we able to help give an animal a wonderful change at a great\, adopted home\, but transport also allows us to open up a foster home for another animal in need. \nThe basic vetting and transport cost of ONE animal out of state can average $300! Multiply that by 200 animals\, through the first half of 2019\, and our transport costs have exceeded $60\,000 so far! By the end of the year\, we will have spent well over $100\,000 to help these animals in need complete their story and find a happy and loving home. \nDallas DogRRR is hosting this fundraising event to help bring awareness for our transport program\, as well as to help us offset these mounting costs. DogRRR never shys away from a dog based on medical costs and it’s with the help of our community that we can continue to rescue dogs each and every day. We invite you to enjoy an evening event of wine paired with delicious snacks and sweets as well as a silent auction/raffle and FUN! Our goal is to sell 80 tickets to help cover some of these costs and provide a nice “going away” party for animals leaving Texas. \nCan’t attend in person?
