We will meet in the Storytime room next to the Toddler Hall.  \nOur Storytime is full of books\, music\, puppets and fingerplays. Kids earn a new paperback every 4th week. Older and younger children are welcome to attend; however\, the free books are reserved for children ages 18 months-5 years old.

DESCRIPTION:The first week in June is National CPR and AED awareness! To help people feel more comfortable in an emergency\, the Parks and Recreation is offering free hands only CPR classes. Classes will be available throughout the week at different times. These classes are intended to give the layperson or bystander enough tools to be able to act and help in an emergency. CPR is a useful tool for everyone to know\, and The American Red Cross has made it very simple by introducing a hands only component\, meaning\, you are not required to give ventilation in an emergency. SUMMARY:Belly Dancing Class
DESCRIPTION:You can expect an engaging\, fun\, supportive and challenging atmosphere in class. ATS is a low-impact weight bearing form of exercise that works with the body’s natural inclinations to strengthen and condition the body. Intro classes present the basic ATS vocabulary. Students will follow the instructor as they learn and refine movements during a six week period. Using both slow movements and fast steps\, we’ll get you dancing in your first class! This class has plenty of review built in; therefore you may drop in at anytime. \nStudents should wear yoga pants and a comfortable tee shirt. Your sisters in dance welcome you with open arms! DESCRIPTION:Tennessee native Colton Dixon first caught the attention of his fans on season eleven of “American Idol.” Placing seventh on the popular music competition\, Colton is now following in the footsteps of fellow Idol alums Mandisa and Jason Castro\, by venturing into the world of Christian music.\nColton started singing as a teen\, and always wanted to use his gift for ministry. “I started singing when I was 13 years old. I truly believe my voice was a gift from God to share the Message\,” he says. “I hope that you enjoy my music\, but furthermore\, I hope you can connect with it personally and apply it to your everyday lives.”\nDuring his time on Idol\, Colton sang a powerful rendition of “Everything\,” by Lifehouse – a song that has special significance to him. “‘Everything’ by Lifehouse is one of my favorite worship songs of all time\,” he said. “I was on YouTube and I saw a skit that someone had done with the song and it was so powerful! I can’t watch it with out crying…it’s so impacting! I saw ‘American Idol’ as an opportunity to bring the same impact to the viewers on the show.”
