DESCRIPTION:STARTING AT 7:45 for 1M and 8:30 for 5K and 10K: \nDETAILS – 5K/10K/1M Fundraiser \nDescription of event:\nHarvest Time Kaleidoscope 5K/10K Color Run is a fundraiser to benefit the youth and children’s ministries of Harvest Time Assembly of God. This fundraiser provides an opportunity to attend summer camps and mission trips both locally and internationally. While Kaleidoscope 5K/10K is to mainly help our students get to summer camp and mission trips\, we also LOVE choosing a local ministry to support through the event. This year we will be supporting The House of Eli. In the registration process\, you will find opportunities to purchase extra add-ons which will benefit this great organization. \nRegistration: \nLocation and Time: \nThe race will be held at Pecan Grove Park West located at 3200 Canyon Creek Dr. in Sherman. \nRace will start at 8:30am! Serious runners will be in the front of the pack followed by our non competitive participants. \nHere is an overview of what to expect on race day: \n7:00AM (Registration Opens)\n7:45AM (1 mile Fun Run/Walk)\n8:15AM (Warm-ups/ stretching for runners)\n8:30AM (5k/10k color run begins)\nCost: \nThe cost of the 5K/10K & Fun Run: \n5K\n$25.00 (Early Bird)\n$30.00 (After April 12th)\n$35.00 (On Race Day) \n10K\n$35.00 (Early Bird)\n$40.00 (After April 12th)\n$45.00 (On Race Day)\n5K Team or Family (5 or more) \n$20.00 (per runner)\n$25.00 (After April 12th)\nTEAM DISCOUNT NOT AVAILABLE ON RACE DAY \n1 Mile Fun Run/Walk\n$15.00 (Early Bird)\n$20.00 (After April 12th)\n$25.00 (Race Day)\nEach registration includes an event T-Shirt when registered by April 17th. \nAdditional (optional) add-ons: \nThese proceeds will benefit House of Eli Ministry\, a nonprofit ministry serving young men ages 17-21\, who are being released from incarceration\, aging out of foster care\, or are homeless. Sunglasses will shade your eyes and protect them from the powder. An extra bag of powder will add to the colorful fun. \nSunglasses $5.00 (please indicate kids or adults size when you register) \nExtra powder bag $7.00 \nAwards: \nPrizes will be awarded to the first place\, second place and third place male and female runners of the 5K and 10K run. Here are a list of the categories: 14 and under\, 15-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, 70-79\, 80-89\, and overall Male and Female of 5K and 10K run. \nThe 5K/10k races are timed by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing. A timing chip is located in your bib which you will receive in your race packet and pin to the front of your shirt. Results will be posted at the race and after the race at www.chip2chiptiming.com \nPacket Pick up: \nThere will be a pre-race packet pick up on Friday\, May 3rd from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Harvest Time church located at 222 S Heritage Parkway. If you are unable to pick up your packet on the 3rd\, we will have your packets available at 7:00 am prior to the race on Saturday\, May 4th. \nWe will race rain or shine! DESCRIPTION:The tour will guide tourists through West Hill Cemetery\, stopping at the graves and historical markers of various prominent local people. This year’s tour will include Edward Younger Goode\, Lydia Starr McPherson\, Mrs. Oliver A. Carr “Mattie\,” Andrew Hanson\, Bruno H. Zauk\, and the Great Sherman Storm of 1896. Each stop will allow tourists to hear the stories and history of these individuals through character actors playing each historical figure. \n“History Comes Alive” is scheduled for Saturday\, May 4th\, 2019. Tickets are available starting April 18th\, but they are limited so please order quickly. Ticket times are available from 9:00am to 2:00pm every half hour with the 12pm time being handicap accessible. Since hosting the first dinner and launching the business she has been apart of donating over $30\,000. \nKelly is incredibly passionate about using your everyday life to make a bigger impact for yourself and others. She loves speaking into women’s lives and encouraging them to pursue where they are feeling called to from right where they are at. \nAlso\, joining us will be Lisa Shields.
